This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. We don't profile visitors or follow you around the web.
The calculators
Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your own browser. The figures you type in — animal numbers, volumes, anything else — are never sent to us, never stored, and disappear when you close the tab.

If you choose to email us, we'll only use your message to reply. We don't add anyone to a mailing list, and there isn't one.
The honest small print
One thing happens that's normal for every website, and we'd rather be upfront about it: our hosting provider keeps basic server logs — typically your IP address, the time, and the page you requested — for a short period, for security and to keep the site running. It isn't used to identify or track you, and it's the only record a visit leaves anywhere. Everything the site needs to work, including its typefaces, is served from here, so your browser makes no third-party requests as you read — with one deliberate, disclosed exception: the "Can I spread this week?" checker fetches a local forecast when you use it, which sends your postcode to free weather services (postcodes.io and Open-Meteo) purely to look up the weather. We don't store it, and you can pop in any nearby postcode — it's a forecast lookup, not location tracking.
Changes
If this ever changes — for example if we add a feature that needs any data — we'll update this page first and keep it just as plain.
